Hey, I'm Samrudh S Shetty—final year student of Computer and Communication Engineering who enjoys building the backend layer of AI-powered products. My focus is on the part most users never see: the logic, the data pipelines, and the APIs that make intelligent features actually work. I built a resume analysis tool in Flask that parses uploaded resumes, extracts skills, generates ATS scores, and stores history across sessions using SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL — a small product, but one I built end to end.

Beyond the stack, I integrate AI tools like Claude, Cursor, and Codex into my daily workflow to move faster, debug smarter, and prototype ideas that would otherwise take days. I think the next generation of backend developers won't just write code — they'll know how to direct AI to write better code, faster. That's the developer I'm becoming. I also have a background in data operations and analytics, which means I think about data quality and structure before I think about features. Currently open to internships or entry-level roles in AI product backend or backend engineering.
